Hsinchu, Taiwan, March 22, 2006 –Advanced and Wise Technology Corporation is pleased to introduce CAMagic iOdio, their trendsetting media management software for use with wireless headsets and Skype® Software. This front-line technology allows headsets to connect to the VoIP application without disturbing other audio settings. For anyone with a headset that supports Bluetooth® technology, CAMagic iOdio provides an easy and cost-efficient way to use VoIP.
CAMagic iOdio is one of the first and most sophisticated products to compliment the rising popularity of VoIP and wireless devices. “We are pioneers in product development for this kind of solution” says Andrew Wang, CEO at Advanced and Wise Technology. The practical benefit of CAMagic iOdio is that users of Skype Software can enjoy music on their PC or laptop and still take IP calls on their headset.
With the program in place, headset users can have their VoIP or stereo audio directed to the headset whenever it is connected. The program saves audio preferences for both system sound and Skype Software, and manages these two audio channels separately. If you’re already using a wireless headset with your mobile phone or MP3 player, it’s likely that you can simply install the software and start using wireless VoIP.
Advanced and Wise Technology offers CAMagic iOdio as a desktop application for bundling with cell phones, headsets, dongles, and computers that use Bluetooth technology. The software uses Toshiba® or Widcomm® stack drivers and runs on Windows® 2000/XP. Extended support for commercial VoIP and media player applications is under development. The first version of CAMagic iOdio, which uses a Toshiba stack driver, is scheduled for release in early April. |
